The Issue

The City of Boca Raton wants to pass a new ordinance that "No Alcohol will be served past 2 a.m." This means Blue Martini Lounge would have to close at 2am or close down permanently.

Blue Martini has been a part of the Boca Raton community since 2008, and since then has become a valued hangout for our locals. Blue Martini is also the "In the Biz" favorite hangout for Hospitality Professionals in the Boca Raton area to enjoy live music, dance, network, and relax with a drink after a long night's work.

People come from all over to enjoy the amenities offered at Blue Martini Boca, including residents of Deerfield Beach, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Coconut Creek, Parkland, and Coral Springs. BML is a destination location for residents of Boca Raton and surrounding communities to celebrate birthdays, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, and other special occasions.

College students from FAU, Lynn University, and Palm Beach State College have been coming to Blue for years to socialize and celebrate. Working people from surrounding hotels, bars, and restaurants come to Blue Martini when they get off work. If Blue Martini were to close, it would be a very sad day for all of these people. BML employs over 70 staff members including managers that could lose their jobs.
