In the bills, chiropractors seek

• Reduce their own chiropractic educational requirements
• Reduce their licensing examination content
• Lower their standards for practicing acupuncture.

Acupuncturists in NC must have 2000+ hours of training, 3 + year Masters Degree, pass a 3 part national exam, and certification in Clean Needle Technique.

Chiropractors are only required to have 25 hours to perform their "acupuncture"

Lowering educational requirements of any healthcare practice is not in the best interest of the patients!

Allowing chiropractors to define acupuncture independent of licensed acupuncturists is a dangerous precedent!
