The department are trained to understand and support vulnerable individuals and families they understand the impacts of trauma and the impacts on the development of the brain and they use this training to instead manipulate the court processes the children and the parents to comply with the agenda proposed before the court parents give up questioning why they can’t progress or it’s just too traumatic well I wanted to give up many times but I just couldn’t the department’s expectations and request are rigorously set and followed but the are unrealistic and you are not meant to succeed how can you when they manipulate the reactions of the parents and children from word go using the contest process to extend orders for years without a judge even looking at the evidence to make the assessment the order is even needed or should be implemented other issues including especially in rural areas lawyers not having a conflict of interest as I know where I was living every single lawyer had defended the department so how can they be your duty lawyer too also it’s taken me this long to make this  have searched and researched how to hold the department accountable and stop this for everyone and I have to question the youth crime and the kids needlessly in care and how the department is directly contributing to the problem and actually making it far worse than it needs to be there needs to be a huge reform and redesign of the process and systems as it is in its current state it’s causing more harm and trauma than it’s protecting families and children from and impacting on the youth epidemic
