Please sign this petition to support Kenny Pulsifer to be reinstated immediately as a softball umpire.  He was wrongfully suspended for 4 weeks by Chico Area Recreation District (CARD) without having his voice heard.  Without a proper investigation, and knee jerk reaction.  

On May 2, 2023, Kenny was making a routine double play in Adult competitive league.  The runner continued in the path of the ball and Kenny tried to not throw it all the way but it resulted in the runner arm barely being hit.  The other team charged the field and shoved him. He did not respond in a negative way as the other team cussed and yelled. 
USA softball rules, CARD softball rules indicate he did not break any rules and the first sentence of his suspension from umpiring indicates this.  

Without talking to him his supervisors said he threw the ball at the runner on purpose.  This is untrue, and not his character. 

Supervisors wrote Kenny's off duty conduct impacted the integrity, reputation and credibility of Chico Area Recreation District.  

What actually impacts CARD's integrity, reputation and credibility is not training their umpires, the supervisors having no idea of the game,  having no consistency of calls, no supervisors present for first 4 weeks of league for new staff and not addressing issues in the games by communicating to teams to prevent injury.  Had the umpire running the game informed the team of proper CARD and USA softball rules of interference, none of this would have happened.  
Please sign this petition if you think Kp has integrity, has a good reputation and is an asset to the CARD team as an umpire!!!!    

Women's league and Thursday D league need him so there is someone who knows what they're doing managing the games.  Even if he has to stay suspended, I want it known he is supported.
