The City of Belleville has had a consultant come in and revamp the city transit system, paid them $100,000 and is basing the decision to change the routes that have remained the same for 25 years, solely on the recommendations of that consultant, and have neglected to get driver feedback, or passenger feed back. We need to fight for the people who are now unable to use the transit because the stops are now inaccessible for people who use wheelchairs, walkers or canes.
