In Laporte Indiana, Laporte High School received discrimination a few days ago which is backfiring against ALL LGBTQ+ students at that school. A parent saw that we have LGBTQ+-friendly posters and images. She then sent the picture, which included one of our teacher's personal phone numbers, to her husband. He then posted the picture on Facebook including her personal phone number. Our school board has told our teachers that we MUST take down posters and images referencing or talking about LGBTQ+ students/people. The school board refuses to do ANYTHING about this so we NEED support from anyone we can get. The school board also has taken no votes for this matter meaning it was only one voice that got us to this discriminatory action.

LGBTQ students/adults have been targeted for so many years for so many different reasons but it will always come down to our sexuality. Our sexual orientation is anybody's business other than our own! Leave us be and let us live our lives how we want to it doesn't affect anyone else.
