The recent news regarding McGraw-Hill omitting Palestinian history from textbooks (The college textbook, titled Global Politics: Engaging a Complex World, was published in 2012) that includes a visual map of the colonization that occurred during the establishment of a Jewish state - 1. censors education, 2. minimizes critical thinking, and 3. simply distorts factual history - which all violate and rob our youth of an education. As educators, scholars, students, and many others, who are concerned about education, we ask you to continue to publish these books.
