Update from the Civic Engagement Team

Hello Petition Supporters,

My name is Alexandra, and I'm on the Civic Engagement team at Change.org. Our team works to connect petition starters and supporters with the public officials who have the power to act on the issues you care about. 

I spoke with the office of the Executive Director of the Cameron County Regional Mobility Authority (CCRMA) regarding this petition on the proposed Outer Parkway route through Rio Hondo.

Their office let us know that CCRMA held a public workshop last week as part of their effort to listen to community input, and encouraged residents to submit feedback through the official comment process.
