The cashback system was likely introduced to incentivize participation, but in practice it is creating unintended consequences that are damaging the platform’s core mechanics.

Right now:

• Buyers are refusing to purchase coins unless cashback is enabled.
• Instead of supporting projects, users are deploying their own tokens just to farm cashback.
• Organic launches are declining because there is no incentive for simple, honest devving anymore.

As a result, behavior across CT has shifted.

Developers are no longer grinding toward DEX because they aren’t properly rewarded. Instead, we are seeing:

• Mass bundling and stacking at launch
• Short-term plays instead of long-term building
• Faster nukes and rugs to zero
• Reduced trust in launches overall

The cashback structure unintentionally rewards farming mechanics over real community growth. It discourages creativity and incentivizes exploitation.

The current system is pushing the meta toward extraction instead of sustainability.

We are asking PumpFun to:

Reevaluate how cashback is distributed
Ensure developers are directly rewarded for genuine launches
Restore incentives for long-term devving and organic growth
The ecosystem thrives when devs are motivated and communities feel fair participation. Right now, that balance feels broken.

We want a healthier meta.
