Things are happening! We need your help to cross the finish line! We need to start showing up to City-County meetings in support of the proposed increased budget for IACS and a proposed backyard breeding ordinance. If you’re able, please note the dates for the next full Council meeting (June 3rd) and the June Metropolitan and Economic Development Committee meeting (June 10th).
The “MED” would hear the Backyard Breeding Ordinance before it goes to the full Council, and they would also be responsible for reviewing and recommending approval of the IACS Budget (which would be presented as part of the Department of Business and Neighborhood Services), which meets the 3rd Thursday of the month (June 10th) at 3 pm in Room T-260 at the City-County Building downtown. We know it will take part of your day to attend these two meetings but aren’t the dogs worth it?
