I'm very excited because I spoke to someone this weekend who is very familiar with animal welfare in Indianapolis, who convinced me that it is possible that the Indianapolis City-County Council would go for a widespread licensing requirement for all breeders. I previously thought that the Council would want to pass something more tailored to a particular problem so I wrote the petition to include licensing for pit bull breeders only. However, now that I have some hope an across the board licensing requirement is possible I have changed the petition to reflect that.
I'm also excited because on Tuesday, we will be filming for our video. If you have worked or volunteered at IACS I would love for you to be included in the video. I can send you talking points beforehand so you'll have a idea about what will be covered. I'd like to have as many people involved as possible. Please DM me if interested.
