I've never claimed to be an expert in Indianapolis animal welfare. However, I have been a lawyer for nearly 30 years so I know something about how government works, what IACS can accomplish on its own and what needs legislation. I am still learning about IACS and what is currently happening locally in the animal welfare community. I've talked to everyone I can about their experiences and I'd like to talk to more. If you have ever volunteered at IACS or an Indianapolis based rescue (or any rescue that has pulled dogs from IACS, I'd love to talk to you. I have a Facebook page called Stop Pit Bull Overpopulation so you can send me a DM there or send me an email to helpindypitbulls@gmail.com. I'd really appreciate learning from your experiences.
Thanks!
