I have lived in Holmfield, Halifax all my life. My main concern is the noise this battery storage system will produce. We already live in an area where we have an industrial low frequency humming constantly within our homes; we have had to learn to live with it. This site could potentially add to this situation.

There are many other fears felt in the local community, such as fire risk, environmental risks due to its proximity to local waterways and historical buildings, and the close proximity to residential housing estates. Additionally, while the land is designated for employment use, there will be no long-term employment opportunities once it's built.

We must protect our community's health and well-being from noise pollution and potential hazards. Please sign this petition to urge Calderdale Council not to approve these plans!
