Save the Lambs 

A pop up stand has recently opened on the Great Orme and they are selling “Great Orme Lamb Burgers” which I’m sure many other people will find absolutely disgusting and cruel. The owners are trying to get permission from the council to make this an official business. We should let the lambs and sheep of Llandudno live their lives in peace on their home The Great Orme and not end up as burgers. The meat bought from “local farms” is no more ethical than any other meat on the supermarket shelf. In the animal agriculture industries, animals are routinely mutilated, killed by blunt force, shot, forcibly impregnated, used and exploited, and ultimately slaughtered violently. Animal agriculture also has a huge negative impact on our planet, and a shift to a vegan diet could also improve people’s health and reduce the impact of heart disease and cancer on our NHS. These Lambs are just babies, sentient beings who want to live, just like us humans.
