This visitor centre, comprising a popular cafe, art gallery and public conveniences is owned by Caerphilly County Borough Council.

The visitor centre is very popular with Caerphilly residents and visitors alike whether to use the facilities, browse artworks or enjoy a coffee with unparalleled views of the Castle.

It would be a massive detriment to the town if this popular visitor centre, with toilets, art gallery and cafe were all to close and is contradictory to the Labour- run Council's masterplan to make Caerphilly a Tourism hub.

Caerphilly Council claims coffee vista is losing £90k a year and yet they own the building, and employ the staff, so it's hard to understand how a popular coffee shop is running at a loss when there are so few overheads!
