Taking delivery of a car that you have been dreaming of for the longest time brings the best feeling. However, this joy quickly vanishes if your newly bought car breaks down just a few hours after the delivery. Now, as much as it hurts to tell, this actually happened to a Tata Harrier owner from West Bengal. Recently, a video went viral on the internet when an advocate’s Tata Harrier broke down just 12 hours after taking delivery of his SUV.. A few months ago my newly purchased car got a visit /goodbye from the workshop after change of gear shifter cable and very soon new issues have again started creeping in.

On 5th November 2024 System showed DEF SYSTEM FAILURE with Engine Malfunction light blinking and accordingly the Dealership Banerjee Automobiles were intimated and the vehicle was handed over to me after thorough inspection.

Today again on 7th November 2024 while driving engine malfunction light appeared and accordingly the car got a visit to the workshop. 

After inspection it has been conveyed to me that DCU needs to be changed and accordingly the issue will be sorted out

If all these possible scenarios and trail of events can be closely monitored it can be well understood with a rational and logical thinking that the vehicle suffers from "INHERENT MANUFACTURING DEFECTS" . as slowly and gradually multiple issues are coming and parts are being changed. 

Lets hope for the best and waiting for a positive outcome from the end of Tata Motors.
