My child has been bullied and assaulted all year long, and it's not just my son. Numerous children at Boones Creek Elementary School have come to me with their stories of bullying and harassment. Despite these ongoing issues, the school has done absolutely nothing to address them. This situation has become intolerable and I am fed up with it.

Bullying and harassment in schools are serious issues that have long-lasting impacts on children's lives. According to the National Center for Educational Statistics, about 20% of students aged 12-18 experience bullying nationwide. The consequences of bullying can include depression, anxiety, and decreased academic achievement. It's imperative that schools like Boones Creek take proactive measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.

We are calling on the administration of Boones Creek Elementary and the Washington County School District to take immediate and effective action against bullying and harassment. This includes implementing comprehensive anti-bullying policies, providing regular training for teachers and staff on recognizing and addressing bullying, and ensuring clear, efficient reporting procedures for students and parents.
