Ample Investments seeks to develop land in Buckley, Victoria between Winchelsea and Moriac to the North West of Lake Modewarre.

This development proposal is at odds with the recently passed Urban Future Strategy and the Surf Coast Shire Hinterland Strategy, representing a striking example of ad hoc and incredibly poor development inconsistent with the Shires settlement boundaries.

In a recent community meeting at Moriac the developers have committed that this project will be cancelled if there is no community support. 

On the basis of poor land use planning, environmental concerns, character and community considerations and a myriad of other reasons, I encourage residents to oppose this development by signing this petition. 

Residents are encouraged to sign this petition against the development. In signing you are highlighting to the developer that our community is not supportive and as such they should abandon their plans to create a new settlement within the Surf Coast Shire
