Tomorrow is the Palmer Lake Town Board of trustees meeting at 6pm. Everyone who is local and signed this petition I highly encourage you to join and be there as the voice of the public is very important. This is where they’ll decide if the land will be qualified for annexation and move forward. Let’s remind our elected officials who really hold the power, all of our elected officials who support the cause and don’t want the lives of their constituents negatively impacted by a Buc stop are the true hero’s who deserve our vote, rather the the complacent ones lining their pockets with this transaction. For those of you concerned about traffic you should be, as the only current plan is to slightly reconfigure county line and add a light. I have developed my own traffic configuration I believe would work better, since the individuals paid to do so are incompetent apparently. I think the best solution is for them to build a new interchange as well as updated the current one at county line. This would cost millions and us taxpayers certainly shouldn’t be bearing the brunt of those expenses. If they want to develop in our community then they better build us a new interchange for the traffic. The illustration is of a diverging diamond interchange, which are shown to decrease traffic and increase traffic flow.
