Despite giving themselves a 1.2% pay increase, the London Borough of Bromley are proposing a massive 23% reduction in their Foster Carers' pay.  This will have a significant impact on young people in care, a lot of Foster Carers literally will not be able to afford to continue.  It devalues and undermines them and shows a complete contempt for all Foster Carers and the children they look after.  There is a national shortfall of Foster Carers and they should be being actively encouraged and recruited, not treated like they don't matter - "Every Child Matters", and so should Foster Carers.
