Rockefeller State Park Preserve, a 1,600 acre park in Westchester County, New York conducts an annual bow-hunt  of deer in the Buttermilk Hill area of the park October through December. It is tragic that the park which calls itself a "preserve", and was deeded to the state of New York to safeguard the natural beauty and wildlife of this land, is sanctioning this unusually inhumane form of hunting instead of providing refuge for these harmless animals that have made it their home for years.

Rockefeller State Park Preserve should support a safe and peaceful environment for all its wildlife, visitors, and their pets. Not one where they are killed and put in danger.

Please sign this petition and call those responsible (listed below) to put an immediate end to this unnecessary, reckless and cruel bow-hunt, and to use safe and humane non-lethal deer management only!
