We, the undersigned, call on the Government of Canada to take immediate action to address the grave concerns regarding the leadership of Prime Minister Mark Carney and the Liberal Party.

1.  Conflicts of Interest

• Carney's Investments and Connections: Mark Carney holds over 500 investments, many in foreign companies—including U.S.-based firms, —creating direct conflicts of interest. His financial ties to Brookfield and other international entities raise serious ethical concerns. Carney continued to claim he does not have any conflicts. (some have reported that over 100 exist)His most recent announcements of Softwood Lumbar and Modular Homes are both areas that Brookfield is invested in.

• Government Contracts to Connected Firms: Following his appointment, Carney awarded contracts to companies linked to his personal investments, including Brookfield. His wife’s company also received a government contract, further deepening public mistrust.

2. Undemocratic Governance and Abuse of Process

Prime Minister Mark Carney staged a photo opportunity signing a “Notice of Instruction” for a 1% tax cut, emulating the style of U.S. executive orders. However, Canada’s legislative process requires laws to be debated and passed in Parliament. Carney’s decision to implement policies while Parliament was shut down—and previously prorogued—effectively bypassed democratic debate and voting. This conduct raises serious concerns about executive overreach and the erosion of parliamentary accountability.

3.  Economic Mismanagement and Trade Failures

• Failure to Secure Fair Trade Deals: Despite campaign promises to negotiate with President Donald Trump, Carney failed to secure any meaningful agreements. Instead, Canadian exports now face a 35% tariff—up from Trump’s proposed 25%—making it one of the highest globally.

•Deliberately avoids engagement: Carney claimed ongoing communication with the U.S., yet it was revealed that no talks have occurred in over 40 days, undermining Canada’s trade position and diplomatic credibility.

• Undermining Canadian Industry: Carney has facilitated the relocation of Canadian firms like Brookfield to the U.S., while neglecting vital infrastructure projects such as pipelines that could boost employment and energy independence.

• Tax Burdens and Offshore Wealth: While imposing new taxes on Canadians, Carney has reportedly moved personal wealth offshore, avoiding domestic taxation and contradicting his public stance on economic fairness.

• Job Losses and Economic Decline: Canada lost over 40,000 jobs in July alone, reflecting the broader failure of Carney’s economic policies to protect workers and stimulate growth.

4.  Erosion of Canadian Values and Charter Freedoms

• Fear-Mongering and Divisive Rhetoric: Carney invoked the threat of Trump-era policies to rally support, yet failed to engage constructively with the U.S., deliberately avoiding trade deals that could benefit Canadians. This strategic neglect allows him to blame domestic failures on the U.S. administration, fueling anti-American sentiment and positioning himself as a crisis manager. By manufacturing tension and withholding solutions, Carney sustains a narrative of perpetual emergency — a tactic that keeps him politically relevant and entrenched in power.

Carney’s actions threaten the freedoms of speech, religion, and democratic participation.

• Scandals and Cronyism: His administration is plagued by allegations of backroom deals, favoritism, and financial misconduct, eroding public trust.

5. Failure to Prioritize Canadian Citizens

 • Disproportionate Spending on Immigration: Carney’s government spends up to $82,000 per year housing immigrants in hotels, complete with full meals and amenities, while Canadian veterans who served this nation and seniors survive on approximately $23,000 annually. This imbalance reflects a troubling disregard for the needs of long-standing citizens.

• Lack of Incentive for Integration: Providing luxury accommodations without expectations for employment or cultural integration discourages self-sufficiency. While all individuals deserve safety and dignity, many newcomers show little respect for the country they’ve entered — ignoring its laws, customs, and values.

• Neglect of Infrastructure and Social Needs: Spending priorities appear skewed toward projects benefiting Carney’s personal investments, rather than addressing urgent national needs such as housing, healthcare, and support for vulnerable Canadians..

6. Controversial and Divisive Statements

• Undermining Canadian Identity: Carney’s statement that “Muslim values are Canadian values” sparked widespread backlash from citizens concerned about cultural dilution and national identity.

• Foreign Policy Missteps: His unilateral recognition of Palestine as a state alienated Canada’s closest ally, the United States, and disrupted sensitive negotiations involving Hamas.

Symbolic Disrespect and National Unity: The removal of the Canadian flag from the Prime Minister’s Office and its replacement with a Pride flag is deeply insulting to many Canadians. The Canadian flag is a unifying symbol that represents all citizens, regardless of background, belief, or identity. Elevating one group’s symbol above the national flag fosters division rather than inclusion and undermines the shared values that bind the country together.

7. Suppression of Free Speech and Media Bias

• Censorship of Citizens Online: Under Carney’s leadership, Canadian laws have increasingly restricted online content, making it harder for citizens to access diverse viewpoints and share dissenting opinions. Social media platforms are pressured to suppress content that challenges government narratives.

While Carney travels abroad preaching the importance of freedom and democracy, he actively silences his own people at home — censoring dissent and controlling public discourse.

• State-Funded Media Bias: The federal government allocates over $1.5 billion annually to the CBC, creating a clear incentive for favorable coverage of Carney and the Liberal Party. During the most recent elections, opposition leader Pierre Poilievre was notably denied equitable airtime, raising serious concerns about media impartiality and democratic fairness.

• Control of Public Discourse: Carney has promoted policies that limit journalistic independence and favor government-approved messaging. This undermines the free press and stifles public debate, eroding the foundational principles of Canadian democracy.

8. Personal Interests Over National Loyalty

• Absence from Canada: Carney has spent the last decade living outside of Canada, primarily in the United States, raising concerns about his connection to the everyday realities of Canadian citizens.

• Manipulation of Riding Access: In order to secure a seat in Parliament, Carney reportedly displaced sitting MP Chandra Arya, exploiting party mechanisms to position himself for electoral success — a move that undermines democratic fairness and local representation.

• Business Ties in the U.S.: Carney’s affiliation with Brookfield, a firm heavily invested in American companies and contracts, suggests that he stands to benefit financially regardless of Canada’s economic relationship with the U.S. While Canadians face restricted trade and missed opportunities, Carney profits from the very American investments he publicly criticizes. 

Carney’s alignment with the World Economic Forum (WEF) further raises concerns about whose interests he prioritizes. While Canadians face rising costs, job losses, and weakened infrastructure, Carney appears more focused on advancing global agendas than addressing the urgent needs of the people he was elected to serve.

Climate Agenda Over Canadian Realities: Carney’s deep involvement in global climate finance initiatives — including his role in promoting ESG regulations and net-zero investment strategies — reflects a commitment to international climate goals that often clash with Canada’s economic needs. These policies have led to higher energy costs, restricted resource development, and increased burdens on rural and working-class Canadians. Rather than tailoring solutions to Canada’s unique geography, industries, and communities, Carney continues to push a one-size-fits-all climate agenda shaped by elite institutions like the WEF.

• Conflict of Interest: With Donald Trump driving major investments into the U.S., Carney’s silence on trade deals with Canada appears strategic. His personal gain from Brookfield’s American ventures raises serious ethical questions about whose interests he truly serves — Canada’s or his own.

9. Lack of Transparency and National Security Failures

• Failure to Table a Federal Budget: Carney has refused to present a federal budget, delaying vital fiscal discussions and leaving Canadians uninformed about government spending.

• Suppression of Key Statistics: Immigration data, temporary work permits, and expiration records have not been updated since April 2025, obstructing public oversight.

• Foreign Police Presence: Chinese government-linked police stations have been reported operating in Canada, with the RCMP confirming investigations into facilities in Ontario, Quebec, and B.C.

• Ignored Warnings of Election Interference: The RCMP warned Carney that nine MPs were compromised by Chinese interference. He failed to act, and coordinated operations—especially via WeChat—targeted Canadian elections, threatening democratic integrity.

10. Security and Safety Concerns

• Public Disorder and Inaction: Under Carney’s leadership, protestors have been allowed to burn the Canadian flag and chant violent, anti-Canadian slogans — including calls for harm against citizens — without consequence. This failure to uphold national dignity and protect public safety sends a dangerous message of tolerance for extremism.

• Uncontrolled Immigration Amid Chaos: Welcoming large numbers of immigrants into a country already facing social and economic instability puts Canadians at risk. Instead of ensuring integration and security, Carney’s policies have created conditions where citizens feel unsafe in their own communities.

• Fentanyl Crisis Mismanagement: Despite appointing a so-called “Fentanyl Czar,” the government has failed to address the escalating drug crisis. Overdose deaths, addiction, and related crimes — including home invasions, theft, and assaults — have surged, making it increasingly dangerous to walk the streets in many Canadian cities.

Negligence in Border Security and Drug Enforcement: Carney has failed to address the growing threat posed by imported goods from foreign countries, particularly China, where fentanyl production is a major concern. With only 1% of freight shipments inspected at Canadian ports, the government’s claims of minimal drug trafficking risk are misleading. This lack of oversight not only endangers Canadian communities but also facilitates the flow of illicit substances into the United States, contributing to a cross-border public health crisis.

• Neglect of Citizen Safety: The Liberal government’s focus on optics and ideology has come at the expense of real safety measures. Canadians deserve leadership that prioritizes their protection, not one that turns a blind eye to rising violence and lawlessness.

11. Religious Freedom and Cultural Representation.

While other religious groups are permitted to publicly celebrate their traditions—including the erection of large religious monuments—Christian Canadians are increasingly restricted from practicing their faith. Churches have been burned with little government response, and Christian symbols and traditions are being quietly marginalized. The recent installation of giant Hindu statues, while meaningful to some, reflects a selective cultural endorsement that does not represent the broader Canadian identity or the values of the majority. This imbalance undermines the principle of equal religious freedom for all citizens.

We demand that:

1. An immediate investigation into Prime Minister Mark Carney’s conflicts of interest, financial dealings, and business associations.

2. A full review of his leadership, including trade relations, economic decisions, and policies affecting Canadian citizens and immigrants.

3. Immediate steps to remove Mark Carney from office due to widespread mismanagement and ethical violations.

4. A renewed commitment to transparency and accountability, prioritizing Canadian interests over foreign corporations.

5. The tabling of a federal budget and restoration of regular updates to government statistics, ensuring informed public discourse.

Canadians deserve leadership that commands respect, not ridicule. In just four months in office, Carney’s repeated failures — both at home and abroad — have undermined public trust and embarrassed Canada on the world stage. Enough is enough..
