Thank you to all of you who have signed this petition - which has reached almost quarter of a million signatures, but also to those who have pledged and donated money to our ongoing Court action.

We desperately need to stop these consents to take water from our precious acquirers for the sole purpose of bottling!

Plastic bottles are also created on-site in Belfast, Christchurch, and are then filled from a deep bore to our deep West Melton aquifer.

We have lodged our proceedings for our case to be heard at the Court of Appeal - to take this even further.

We have a terrific lawyer, and we need the funds to overturn these consents. In doing so, we hope to safeguard similar pending consents for water extraction.

We don’t want water bottling to become an exceptionally easy process for those seeking a quick buck. We don’t want regional councils to not follow best practise, but to err on the side of caution.
It’s not environmentally aligned, it’s not sustainable, it’s not future-proofing for future generations, and we believe it’s also - not legal.
