Beemok Capital and its owner Benjamin W. Navarro bought the Western & Southern Tennis Tournament in 2022 and recently revealed their interest in moving it to Charlotte, North Carolina. The tournament has been in Cincinnati since it’s founding over 124 years ago and as a storied tournament and economic engine for the region which brings in exciting top men and women pro tennis players each year it deserves to remain in Cincinnati. Officially, the decision on the future location of the tournament will not be announced until later this summer. Through this petition we are asking Beemok Capital and Mr. Navarro to reconsider their potential plans to relocate the tournament.
