For years, we have watched Gaza endure devastating loss of life, displacement and destruction. Tens of thousands have been killed and hundreds of thousands injured. Families have been torn apart, and entire neighbourhoods have been destroyed.
And it is going on. Israeli attacks in Gaza continue, while violence, displacement and demolitions are intensifying across the occupied West Bank. Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has now openly called for Israel to “go to war” there and “do there what we did in Gaza.”
At the same time, governments around the world continue to supply Israel with weapons, ammunition and military equipment.
These governments have a choice. They decide whether these arms transfers continue.
We are people from around the world calling on them to stop.
