Did you know that kids supply ingredients in Apple products? Apple buys mica from Madagascar and other countries to make the battery pack for their products. This mica comes from mines where kids are working and treated very badly.

In these mines, kids work there for pennies and it is really dangerous. The kids who work in the mica mines are most likely to not live after 50 years. This shows how deady and horrible the mica mines are. The mica mines also have a really bad working condition so it’s really deadly to work down there. When the kids are mining it can cause cancer and diseases. 

In 2018 there was a report by an NGO. They found out that 45 children died between 2013 and 2018 in the mines.
