Stop Apple from censoring "The Problem with Jon Stewart"

Stop Apple from censoring "The Problem with Jon Stewart"
The Issue
As reported today by The New York Times and The Verge, Apple is effectively cancelling the Apple TV+ show “The Problem with Jon Stewart” due to “editorial disagreements”, stemming from their planned coverage of AI and China.
While it is not surprising that large corporations such as Apple prioritize profit over their own integrity, the hypocrisy of their progressive self-portrayal becomes excruciating as their true values are laid bare at the mere thought of criticizing China.
Jon Stewart’s voice is sorely needed in the current media landscape. He speaks with integrity on important and neglected issues. He speaks truth to power. And he is one of the funniest people in existence.
In its two short seasons “The Problem” enriched our understandig of many complex issues. But now Apple’s cancellation of the show leaves us all poorer.
By signing this petition, you demand that Apple grow a spine - that they bring back Jon and support him and his team, giving them editorial freedom to raise topics as they see fit.
