Stop animals in shelters from being killed after three days!!

Stop animals in shelters from being killed after three days!!
The Issue
Cal Coast Times reports: In a plan to save money, Paso Robles and Atascadero city official are considering adopting a program where animals would be euthanized three days after being picked up by animal services. State law requires animal shelters to keep healthy dogs and cats alive for three days before destroying the animals. (https://calcoasttimes.com/2017/09/20/animal-shelter-cat-crematorium/
And we are ok with this? We as a community need to make a change. We need to be the voice these poor animals need and dont have.
Three days is not enough and I for one want to make a difference.
Maybe, if enough of us sign, Atascadero and Paso Robles will see that we do not agree with this plan. There are other ways for the city to save money.
We need to stop unnecessary killing of animals at the hands of our publicly elected officials. Please help me do it. Our babies are worth more!
