We, the residents of Revere, ask that any and all animal testing be prohibited at the BioLab being built at Suffolk Downs by HYM Development and, specifically, prohibit the inclusion of a vivarium (a top floor where animal testing & experimentation is to be performed) at this BioLab.   

In addition, we request that the level of this BioLab, currently a Level 3, be reduced to a Level 1 in order to offer protection to residents from the risk of dangerous pathogens that could be handled at this BioLab.

This BioLab is being built in close proximity to residential housing and poses serious health risks at a Level 2 and/or Level 3.  Allowing only a Level 1 BioLab, instead, will greatly reduce these risks to the surrounding community.  

Signing this Petition will: 

1. Prevent animal testing & experimentation.
2. Reduce the level of the BioLab thereby reducing the danger, risk & severity of dangerous pathogens allowed at this lab to the surrounding community.
