I started this petition to raise awareness about a reality that often remains hidden: animals are still being used for experiments in Belgium, including beagles.

 

Beagles are specifically bred for laboratory testing. They are gentle, social, and trusting dogs  which is exactly why they are chosen. They trust humans completely… and that trust is being exploited.

 

For me, this is deeply personal. My own dog was half beagle. I experienced firsthand how loving, sensitive, and pure these dogs are. Knowing that dogs like him are still being used in experiments truly breaks my heart.

 

Animal testing causes pain, stress, and suffering. At the same time, there are now more ethical and reliable alternatives available. Yet, these practices continue.

 

With this petition, I want to:

 

raise awareness
put pressure on policymakers
and contribute to a future where animal testing is fully replaced

 

 

Animals are not tools. They feel, they trust, and they deserve protection.
