We are a group of concerned college students from Macon, Georgia and we are deeply affected by the unnecessary killing of innocent animals for their fur. This practice is not just cruel but also unsustainable and harmful to our environment. According to Humane Society International, more than 100 million animals are killed each year for their fur worldwide. This includes foxes, rabbits, minks, and even dogs and cats in some countries.

The process these animals go through is heartbreaking - they're often kept in cramped conditions with little regard for their welfare before being brutally killed. The environmental impact is equally concerning; fur farming contributes significantly to water pollution due to the chemicals used in processing.

We believe that fashion doesn't have to come at such a high cost. There are many alternatives available today that don't involve harm to our animal friends or our planet - faux furs made from synthetic fibers or sustainable materials like hemp or recycled plastic.
