Animal experimentation and abuse is a serious issue that needs addressing immediately. Animals are often used in testing procedures that can cause pain and suffering, even when alternative methods like computer modeling and lab-grown cells are available. It is unnecessary and unfair to harm these animals when safer, more practical options exist. Therefore, stronger laws should be put into place to prevent and eventually end this cruel form of violence towards animals, and to require the use of  humane methods when possible.
