We need to start holding people accountable. A new bill should be introduced. It is up to us to create a new future for animals. A future free of violence. 

When a person has committed a sexual crime and is found guilty, they are required to register as a sex offender. When that is done their information is easily accessible from a government website. Anyone can see this. In many cases, that information can ruin their reputation, their credibility, and even their life. So why shouldn’t those who abuse and neglect animals be held to the same standards?

Fines and repercussions for these types of crimes are so minimal that anyone with a desire to commit these horrendous acts will do it time and time again. And they do. Enough is enough. Animals deserve rights just like humans do. They are innocent and they are suffering because of evil people. Right now there is not enough being done about this. 

We need to create and propose a bill to congress in which any individual that commits a crime of this category would be REQUIRED to register as an animal abuser. They also would not be allowed to adopt, foster, or have an animal in their possession again. It would show this on public record. A second bill could also be designed to raise the fines and sentences for all counts of animal abuse.

This petition would hold these evil people responsible for their cruel acts towards the helpless. Be their voice. They do not have one.
