The local animal control city employee in Plainview, Ar, he's an animal control person, he takes stray animals as well as beloved pets (right off their property!) to the local water treatment plant, he SHOOTS the animals & tosses them into a large pit that is located on the water plant property. He then throws lye on the dead bodies to get them to decompose faster. This person works for the city,and is now being backed by the city after the discovery of what I call the PIT-O-DEATH. The city is actully claiming that what this guy is doing is completely LEGAL and that the ONLY action they are going to take is to move the PIT-O-DEATH to anouther location! I have copies of thepicture & video evidence of this pit, and the ONLY animals in this pits that did not have COLLARS were the 5 puppies! ALL THE OTHER ANIMALS HAD COLLARS &/OR TAGS! How can it be legal to steal peoples pets, shoot them,and toss them into a huge pit in the ground next to a water treament plant??? Several new tv shows, newspapers, and PETA have all been contacted. ONE Arkansas news tv station, Channel 7, actully ran this story last nite. But, this is still an issue. This is going to continue. The city has taken a stand, and it's behind this animal control officer. Help me stop this. I am asking the city of Plainview to please revise thier animal control & disposal of animals policies!
