We desperately need your help and support.

There are teenage boys usually in groups of threes or fours in Claygate, Chessington, Tolworth and surrounding areas trapping and/or shooting cats then setting their dogs on them. They use catapults and air rifles to shoot at cats, horses and wildlife. They have been seen dragging cats from under cars and out of trees, throwing them in to vans with the dogs then standing there laughing and filming it. They take a lot of the animals they capture or kill with them. This has been happening for months now if not years. Always the same group of teenage boys. They also threaten people in to not speaking or showing evidence.

They killed our beautiful fur baby! He was the most gentle, loving cat who wouldn’t have hurt anyone and these boys killed him in the worst way! We’ve had Frank since the day he was born, he’s only two and a half years old and we are absolutely heartbroken! My children are still crying for him! They won’t get over this! Frank helped them so much with their mental health, he was such a small baby who loved kisses and cuddles. These boys won’t even tell us what they have done with his body! They just laugh.

They use the Surbiton golf course and field’s next to it for hunting and torturing animals, also causing a lot of damage on private land. They walk the streets or drive around shooting and killing these poor animals too. 

They make their dogs fight, leave them crying in pain and in the freezing cold all night. The ones that have managed to get away have been rescued by people who found them terrified, shaking, injured and so skinny, hiding in bushes.

There’s witnesses, video footage and pictures of what they are doing to animals but the police haven’t done anything. They’re not interested because of who the boys are. This should have been stopped ages ago but instead these boys were free to keep doing this and killed our beautiful boy! This HAS to stop now!!

If this is what they do for fun, what will it lead to? Will they hurt or kill a child or elderly person next? It isn’t normal behaviour to torture animals! To make dogs rip cats apart! There are horses and cats with the pellets left in them! Some cats have gone blind, lost an eye, had to have their leg removed. Many cats obviously killed. The RSPCA said there is over 620 incidents of cats being attacked in these areas since 2020!! We NEED the police to stop this!! We will not give up until we get justice!
