The Philippines face a wide spread crisis of animal abuse, characterized by neglect, cruelty, and exploitation across various animal population. Philippines got the Rank 10 in animal abuse in the World. The suffering is rooted in a lack of awareness, insufficient enforcement of REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8485(The Animal Welfare Act), and inadequate resources for animal protection. Last year, I lost my dog and because someone hit his head cause bleeding inside.

Addressing this crisis demands a multi-pronged approach, strengthening RA 8485 enforcement through increased funding and manpower for animal welfare agencies to punished those people who abuse animal. We need to spread public awareness campaigns to spread this information and highlight the consequences of animal abuse in our country.

Empowering local communities through education and training program will forster a culture of animal welfare. We the people of the Philippines need also to be aware of this problem and take the actions, demanding stronger enforcement of RA 8485 comprehensive public awareness campaigns and increased investment in animal welfare against animal abusing and support for community- based animal welfare programs by signing this petitions, you commit to ending animal abuse and crating more compassionate societies for all living beings.
