I am a resident of Catholic Colony, Karachi, Pakistan and I have personally witnessed the growing issue of animal abuse in our community. It is heartbreaking to see innocent animals being treated with such cruelty and disrespect. This is not just an issue about animals; it's about our values as a community.

In Pakistan, there are laws against animal cruelty under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1890. However, these laws are often overlooked or not enforced effectively. According to the Pakistan Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), cases of animal abuse are on the rise across the country.

We need stricter enforcement of existing laws and harsher punishments for those who harm animals. We must also promote education about animal welfare in schools and communities to foster empathy towards all living beings.

This petition calls upon local authorities in Karachi to take immediate action against this rampant problem. Let's work together to protect these voiceless creatures from further harm and make Catholic Colony a safe place for all its inhabitants - humans and animals alike.
