The barefoot is attempting to fight it in court, let's keep up the signatures to show a united front. How we DON'T tolerate animal abuse and neglect.

Due to the recent postings against the Barefoot Ranch and Rescue, we have decided it is time to step forward as an equine community.

The barefoot ranch and rescue has been a long standing rescue in rural Manitoba, located in Teulon. There have been numerous allegations of abuse, which includes: starvation, failure to trim horses with a 6-8 week schedule, failure to provide proper vet care, and irresponsible and dangerous business habits. Which include: bringing stallions onto the property, having poor pasture management, a dangerous pasture, lack of shelter (excluding forest), lack of access to a good water source during winter for the minis, lack of proper and nutritious feed, and more. 
Numerous screenshots and stories have been shared proving the abuse against the horses there. She is not only a hoarder with over 60+ horses, but often BUYS animals to add to her supposed "petting zoo". Animals that she also has no knowledge on how to properly keep (her male alpaca brutally raping her sheep and her not understanding what's going on).

They have also been exposed for being untruthful with horse adoptions, selling blind horses to unknowing people, sending horses with severe lameness issues to new homes under the guise of being sound, and sending emaciated horse to new homes due to her neglect. She regularly denies good homes, has also declined owners who board, because they don't own their own property.

The list goes on but it's time to stop this. On numerous occasions for the past year+, people have reached out to help and fundraise. But with the funds she makes, she buys MORE animals. We have tried, and tried, and tried. It is time to shut this place down. It is time for Canada to implement proper equine welfare laws, or more horses will die. There will always be Barefoots around, it's time to stop them.
