Animal abuse isn't just a local issue; it's also a global crisis that needs immediate attention. According to the Compassion and Responsibility for Animals (CARA) Welfare Philippines, nearly 3000 cases in 2020 alone were abused or killed due to domestic violence. These data demonstrate that, despite various campaigns and advocacy efforts, people continue to commit such awful crimes.

We need stronger legislation to combat animal cruelty, as well as increasing public awareness of the issue. We must educate people about proper pet care and encourage them to report any instances of cruelty they witness.
