Angela Rayner is wanting local councils to get rid of allotments. These are a lifeline for many, providing food, exercise and opportunities for social interaction.  For many, they are a vital lifeline in  helping mental health issues and for older people, often provide a way to carry on exercising. Allotments help people to access  low cost fresh fruit and vegetables, locally grown. 

For many who don't have gardens or only small gardens they are a Godsend. 

Angela Rayner should be supporting local councils to fund allotments and keep these areas alive in our communities.
