Late Friday night, the QLD Attorney General announced she’d finally introduce the Bill to scrap “gay panic” in parliament this week. It’s huge progress - this archaic law will now be addressed this year because of our petition efforts! I’ll keep you posted as I hear more, but it’ll be Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday that “gay panic” is discussed. If you’re based in Brisbane, it could be nice to get to Parliament and watch the debate from the public gallery.
