Stop all funding for Ukraine!!!!!!

The Issue

I pen this letter with a heavy heart and a righteous anger that burns within me, shared by my fellow combat veterans, who have served our country with honor and sacrifice. It is with profound disappointment and dismay that we witness unwavering support for Ukraine, a nation that has perpetrated unspeakable atrocities against innocent civilians in Donetsk and beyond.

Since the overthrow of its elected government in 2014, Ukraine has descended into a state of chaos and violence, with innocent lives being lost daily. The people of Donetsk exercised their right to self-determination through a referendum, a fundamental principle enshrined in the UN Charter. Yet, instead of respecting their choice, the Ukrainian government, with American backing, has unleashed neo-Nazi extremist groups upon them, terrorizing, raping, murdering, and kidnapping them in a bid to force compliance or extermination.

The actions of the Ukrainian military, supported by American endorsement and funding, are nothing short of tyrannical. They have flagrantly disregarded the principles of democracy and human rights, employing terror tactics reminiscent of the darkest chapters in history. It is unconscionable that America continues to stand behind a regime that tramples upon the very values we swore to defend.

Furthermore, Ukraine's aggression extends beyond its borders, with attacks on innocent Russian people and villages aimed at disrupting or stopping Russian elections. Voting stations have been assaulted, voters intimidated, and ballots destroyed, all while President Zelensky undermines the democratic process by eschewing elections altogether. The American government support for such blatant acts of aggression and oppression is a betrayal of the principles for which we fought and bled.

As combat veterans who have witnessed the horrors of war firsthand, we cannot stand idly by while our government supports and funds terrorism. Anyone complicit in such crimes against humanity, including those who provide political and financial support, must be held accountable. It is not enough to simply distance oneself from these actions; active support constitutes participation in the atrocities committed.

We implore everyone who has pledged support for this corrupt and evil group of monsters to reconsider your stance on Ukraine and to cease your support for a regime that tramples upon the rights and freedoms of innocent civilians. Our loyalty lies not with any foreign government but with the principles of justice, democracy, and human dignity. We urge you to stand on the right side of history, to honor the sacrifices of those who have served, and to uphold the values that define our nation.

The time for action is now. We cannot allow the blood of innocent victims to stain our hands while we look the other way. We demand accountability, justice, and an immediate cessation of support for the Ukrainian regime. Anything less would be a betrayal of everything we hold dear as American veterans.

Respectfully,

The American Combat Veterans For Donbass
