Nueces County Tx Animal Control supervisor Ramon Herrera III has been quoted as saying " I am finished dealing with rescues and adopters drama, I am going back to the way it used to be and KILLING THEM ALL AFTER THEIR 72 HOUR HOLD." Multiple complaints of animals being PTS WITH qualified rescues and adopters begging for them and many times $100's of dollars in pledges. The self proclaimed Rescue Coordinator Lisa Buckholt has asked adopters to open veterinary accounts for the animals in the shelter they are looking to adopt into her personal name and requires adopters to PREPAY veterinary accounts before animals may be removed from the animal control and transported by her to the veterinarian. A FULL investigation needs to happen into the financial dealings of this " coordinator" and supervisor also the fact animals lives are being taken while many people are attempting to rescue them.Remove Ramon Herrera from his position permanently!!!
