Thank you to everyone who read our update yesterday and took action.
Some of those detained have now received removal notices confirming that they are to be deported to Jamaica on 2nd of December. This is only 2 weeks away. A recent court of appeal ruled that the practice of giving people as little as 72 hours notice of removal is unlawful and thousands will have been impacted by this including members of the Windrush Generation .
We urgently need your support to challenge this .
The Jamaican government do not have to allow this flight to land and so pressure must be placed on them and any authority or body that is complicit in the process in addition to the UK government.
You can tweet the Prime Minister of Jamaica asking him to refuse the charter flight, especially in the midst of the pandemic.

The High Commission also has a facebook page and although you cannot post directly onto it, you can comment on posts that are there and so we ask that you post comments on to this post asking them to call on the Jamaican government to refuse to allow the flight to land:
