Dear Supporters 

After our campaign last year, all charter flight deportations to Jamaica were suspended by the government.

Disgracefully the government have organised a charter flight mass deportation to Jamaica which they have indicated will depart between 5.01pm on 1st of February and 5pm on 15th of February.

We are campaigning to stop it and know of some people already booked on it. 

Given that the government are still reviewing the impact of the Windrush scandal and who is to be  included in the Windrush compensation scheme there should be no such deportations.

The vast majority being deported will have a Windrush link.

Please can you write to your MP to complain about this flight going ahead. Up to 60 people may be deported on it. If you know anybody signing in with the Home Office who is from a Caribbean country please warn them they could be detained and booked on it with little notice and if not represented legally they need representation legally.

Please ask them to contact me if they need legal representation or if they are booked on the flight as we want to monitor who is impacted and campaign against it.
