Stop abuse of hunting dogs

Stop abuse of hunting dogs

The Issue

Loose dogs are starved and abused and left to fend for themselves as they hunt. The dogs are often abandoned for the communitiy to rescue.  Tracking collars on loose dogs are often so tight that the dogs cannot drink or breath properly and struggle as they foam at the mouth in desperation. Loose dogs spread disease, breed unwanted litters, kill livestock, pets, injure children, damage property and are used as an excuse by hunters to trespass and poach on private property.  This barbaric blood sport must be ended as hunters cannot use loose dogs without breaking laws such as trespassing, pet and livestock killing, property damage, and distrubing the peace and privacy of private property owners.
