'Planning & Property Partners' development company has submitted a planning application to construct a fast food restaurant at 19-23 Hereford Road, Mount Evelyn.

This is a residential area, and although planning does allow for this use, residents and the broader community object to this proposal. Grounds for objection include loss of community character and safety, location away from the town centre, negative effects on native wild life including the endangered powerful owl, negative effect on local businesses, shared boundary with residences, noise, smell, bright lights, traffic, litter and vermin.
