Dear all,

According to The Reading Reporter, RBC are set to approve funding for the junction at the budget signing off meeting on 24th February 2026. While RBC won't confirm or deny anything to us, we are very much hoping that the source of this leak is reliable.

If this information is correct, it is undoubtedly excellent news. Having said this, we are well aware that this is only the first stage; we need to ensure RBC actually carry out the work!

Therefore, we will still need your support to help us ensure these works are completed. There will be numerous stages to go, but, crucially, there will be a consultation period.

 It is in this consultation period where we will really need the support of each, and every, person who has signed this petition, to help us ensure our voices are heard and the work is completed. 

I will update you all after the meeting on 24th February, when we know for certain, if the funding has been secured.
