Hi all,
For those that don't know, U+2 is a housing occupancy ordinance in the City of Fort Collins. It prevents more than three unrelated people from living together, regardless of how many bedrooms a house has. This prevents many in Fort Collins from affording housing, but it affects students disproportionately. Currently there is a deal with a city council member, where if there are 200 students that show up to City Council on April 4th at 6:00 PM, she will motion to put U+2 on the ballot. This is the closest that students have come to overturning the ordinance, so it is imperative that we show up. Before the meeting, ASCSU members will be across the street at Washington Park at 4:30 PM for a barbecue. All students are welcome.
