A significant concern has arisen in our community.  The entire neighborhood,  Skyview Heights (Skyline Drive and Blue Skyway) in Lithia Springs,  Douglas County,  GA are against any type of re-zoning for any type of business within this neighborhood or any adjoining neighborhoods.

If re-zoning is allowed,  other businesses can follow.

Re-zoning request: S2025-18,  7016 Skyline Drive,  Lithia Springs. 

Zoning committee approved the re-zoning despite our opposition.  Final vote was postponed by one commissioner until April 1, 2025 at Douglas County courthouse  at 6pm. 

The request for denying the applicants request for "Special Usage Permit" is not personal towards the applicants.
